Southeast Tennessee History Day
Presented by the Departments of Education & History at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Sat., Mar. 10, 2012 Registration for the Southeast district will close on Fri., Feb. 24 at midnight. All NHD websites to be entered in the contest will be locked on Fri., Feb. 24 at midnight. All research papers to be entered in the contest should be postmarked by Fri., Feb. 24. Encourage your students to begin work on their entries for the Southeast Tennessee National History Day (STNHD)/David H. Gray History Fair Competition. Open to Middle and High School students from Bradley, Franklin, Grundy, Hamilton, Marion, Rhea and Sequatchie Counties, this year's competition will be held at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Online registration for the 2012 STNHD competition opens Sun., Jan. 1, 2012 at Tennessee History Day and closes for the Southeast district on (Fri., Feb. 24) CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2012 WINNERS!
Congratulations to all the participants of the district competition held on the campus of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga on March 10, 2012. Winners will advance to Tennessee's National History Day competition in Nashville, and then those placing 1st and 2nd at the state competition will be eligible to advance to the National Contest at the University of Maryland in June.
